Isabel Wolff
Born: Warwickshire, England
After studying English literature at Cambridge, she worked as a journalist and contributor to several newspapers including The Spectator, the Evening Standard, the Independent and the Daily Telegraph. As a Radio journalist with the BBC World Service radio she was a producer and reporter in the Features department and in Current Affairs.
She published her first novel, The Tribulations of Tiffany Trott in 1998. Critics praised her welcome lively and expressive style mixing humor with a subtle critique of the characters. Tiffany Trott quickly became a bestseller in Britain and in many countries.
With The Making of Minty Malone, published in 1999, Isabel Wolff stood out as an author of the literature of manners.
She then issued Out of the Blue (2001), Rescuing Rose (2002), Behaving Badly (2003), A Question of Love (2005), Forget Me Not (2007), A Vintage Affair (2009) and The Very Picture of You (2011).
